  • The Swan House – Glimpse into the life of one of Atlanta’s wealthiest families.
  • The Tullie Smith Farm - Discover life on a typical yeomen farm in Antebellum Georgia.

  • Tullie Smith Farm Garden – Learn what type of gardens Georgians would have maintained for pleasure and utility in the 1860s.
  • Cherry Sims Asian-American Garden – Observe how Asian plants and rhododendrons mingle in this exotic environment.
  • Swan House Gardens and Grounds – Enjoy the lavish landscape of Swan House featuring a boxwood garden and a cascading fountain.
  • Swan Woods Trail – Explore the Georgia Piedmont’s woodlands ecosystem.
  • Frank A. Smith Rhododendron Garden – Wander among the Azaleas and rhododendrons featured in this contemporary garden.

The Atlanta History Center has annual family activities that include programs and festivals such as Sheep to Shawl, Day of the Dead, Candlelight Nights, and Veterans’ Remembrance Day.
