In the TripAdvisor article titled Marietta Dining Overview there is a great summary of restaurants worth visiting in Marietta Square and beyond.
Some of the favorites mentioned in the Square are…
- Hemingway’s at 29 West Park Square which is a tropical bar and grill. The recommended fare is the Paradise Burger, a Po’ Boy, or try a more filling entree such as Coconut Shrimp or Steak Charusco.
- The Australian Bakery Cafe at 48 South Park Square is popular among visiting Aussies and locals alike. Patrons can taste authentic Australian meals such as Beef and Kidney Pie or Curried Lamb for less than $5 an entree, and sample fresh bread and pastries as well.
- Marietta Pizza Company at 3 Whitlock Avenue is a local favorite for freshly made pizza and salad and supports local artists by displaying their artwork in the venue.
- Efe’s at 113 North Park is great when you are in the mood to try something new such as authentic Mediterranean and Vegetarian Turkish cuisine. Belly dancing is also featured on Friday and Saturday nights.
There are also recommendations for great dining off the square which include an Italian restaurant on Austell Road, Mexican restaurants around town and a couple recommendations for great sushi and Japanese fare on Cobb Pkwy.
