Blue Willow Inn Macaroni and Cheese

The Blue Willow Inn has a fabulous Southern buffet complete with all the fixings but one dish out shines the rest (in my opinion) and that’s their Macaroni and Cheese.

8-ounce package macaroni noodles
1 teaspoon vegetable shortening
1 cup grated Cheddar cheese, divided
1/2 cup Cheese Whiz
3/4 cup milk
2 eggs, beaten
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon mustard
