booth-western-art-museum1Children’s Saturday is an educational program for children ages 4 to 12 and their parents, and is usually offered the second Saturday of each month from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.

 

Programs relate to the Museum’s permanent and traveling exhibitions and focus on teaching children about the American West through art, literature, entertainment, and hands-on activities.

Museum admission plus a nominal fee for materials is charged.

Bear Essentials

Enjoy the exhibit Wild at Heart: Selections from the National Museum of Wildlife Art. Take part in an art lesson that features step-by-step instructions and learn to draw the face of a grizzly bear.

Booth Museum’s 6th Birthday Party & Member Appreciation Day

Join us as we celebrate the sixth anniversary of the opening of the Booth Museum. Children can participate in art activities offered throughout the building, and families can enjoy continuous entertainment in the Booth Theatre.

Cowboy Festival and Symposium

Enjoy art activities especially for children in Cowpoke Corner.

December 12, 2009 – 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Christmas at Sagebrush Ranch

Parents bring your cameras for that special holiday photo while children visit with Cowboy Santa and Mrs. Claus. Explore the galleries and Sagebrush Ranch. Children can make a holiday ornament to take home.
