On Thursday evenings in July from 6:30 to about 8:30 at the Fernbank Science Center, you can Explore Nature with your Child. The concept for this program is to have an informal learning experience designed for parents and children where they can explore nature and learn together using the resources at Fernbank and specifically Fernbank Forest.
If the weather is suitable, there will be a walk in Fernbank Forest to expand learning on the topic or just to enjoy an evening walk and educational tour of the forest. If you would like to have a particular topic discussed, you may e-mail the instructor at al.tate@fernbank.edu. The list below may be useful to help decide on topics of interest to you.
