For a free family fun activity, visit the Promise Land Playground at Eastside Baptist Church in Marietta. It’s a very unique and spacious all-wood play area with swings (for toddlers and older children), slides and various other playground essentials. There’s even a small sand pit.
Besides its all-wood design, what sets the Promise Land Playground apart from all the others is its size and detail. There are pictures of large animals on “Noah’s Ark”, huge white teeth on “Jonah’s whale”, and castle-like architecture with bridges that lead to towers fit for a King and Queen.

From I-75, take exit 263, South Marietta Pkwy (South 120 loop) east towards Roswell. Take a right at second signal. Go one mile. Playground is on the right, next to Eastside Baptist Church on the corner of Little Rd. and Lower Roswell Rd.

Open to the public from 3 p.m. to sundown on weekdays; Saturday 8 a.m. to sundown and Sunday noon to sundown.
